Zirconia Ceramic Washers

Zirconia Ceramic Washers exhibit outstanding wear resistance, electrical insulation, and thermal insulation properties. The material zirconia ceramic is also named zirconium oxide (ZrO2) and is the primary oxide of zirconium. It is usually a white crystal with no odor or flavor, and it is also impossible to dissolve in water, hydrochloric acid, or dilute sulfuric acid. According to the phase shift and microcrack toughening features of zirconia ceramic, it has a strong strength and hardness and is referred to as "ceramic steel". It has the greatest crack toughness of all fine ceramics. Zirconia Washers have outstanding mechanical properties at room temperature.

Since ZrO2 ceramic's elastic modulus and thermal expansion coefficient are comparable to those of steel, zirconium oxide ceramic washers can be organically mixed with steel components without being compromised or burst by inconsistency of thermal expansion.
