Boron nitride insulator is made of hexagonal BN ceramic. Boron nitride ceramic has a high melting point, high collapse resistance and chemical compatibility at high temperature. It has a very large voltage resistance value at high temperature and is very suitable to be used as electrical insulating material under high temperature using environment. With the continuous enhancement of the effect of boron nitride ceramic, its application range will become wider. The following are three typical applications.

Solar modules include crystalline silicon solar cells based on mono- or multicrystalline wafers. Such wafers are fabricated utilizing high temperature facilities in which the copper or graphite heating components are covered using ceramic electrical insulators. These oxide ceramic insulators are highly stressed provided the increasing trend to hire shorter output cycles with higher heating and cooling speeds, contributing to early part failures and increased furnace downtime. This carries with it a major repair task.

In comparison to the conventional usage of alumina ceramic, the functional cycle of parts made from hexagonal boron nitride, is considerably longer.
