1. Alumina ceramic protection sheath tube for thermocouple is the most common product. UNIPRETEC has a large number of stocks in various sizes. The material grades mainly include A950(95% Al2O3), A990(99% Al2O3) and A995(99.5% Al2O3). The temperature resistance of the alumina ceramic tube can reach up to 1,800 degrees C, and the cost is the lowest.
2. Boron nitride ceramic thermocouple protection sheath is mostly used in vacuum furnaces. The purity of boron nitride is very high, and its use temperature can reach up to 2,000 degrees C, and it has excellent thermal shock resistance. In addition, due to the easy machining feature of boron nitride material, small demand and customized size can be quickly met.
3. Silicon nitride protection tube is mainly used to protect the thermocouple that measures the temperature of liquid aluminum and liquid titanium. UNIPRETEC uses gas pressure sintered silicon nitride. First of all, the silicon nitride tube will not corrode the aluminum liquid, and the surface doesn’t adhere to the aluminum liquid, which is more conducive to the improvement of the quality of aluminum products. Secondly, the silicon nitride protection tube has strong oxidation resistance, and it can be used for a long time in the air below 1,000 degrees C without oxidation. In addition, the silicon nitride thermocouple protection tube is 100% dense, and the aluminum liquid cannot be immersed. In addition, the Si3N4 Tube is extremely resistant to thermal shock. Through feedback from our many customers, our silicon nitride tubes have a service life of at least 6 months in the aluminum industry, and many actual tests can exceed 1 year.
4. Zirconia protection tube is mainly used in ingot furnaces or furnaces with corrosive atmosphere. The maximum operating temperature reaches 2,300 degrees C, with high strength and will not react with inert gases.
