Product Introduction
Silicon nitride rod has the characteristics of high hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and low density. Speaking of silicon nitride ceramics, many people will not be unfamiliar now, because it is a kind of technical ceramics that is an inorganic material that does not shrink. Now it has a wide range of applications in many fields.
In terms of acid and alkali resistance, except for hydrofluoric acid, silicon nitride ceramic rod does not react with other inorganic acids (reaction equation: Si₃N₄ + 12HF = 3SiF4↑ + 4NH3↑), so it has strong corrosion resistance. Due to the low density of silicon nitride ceramic, Si3N4 ceramic rod is much lighter than steel and engineering super heat-resistant alloy steel, so in those places where high strength, low density, high wear resistance, high temperature resistance and other properties are required to replace alloy steel with Si3N4 ceramics, it could not be more appropriate. In addition, Si3N4 rods have excellent resistance to extreme cold and extreme heat. Simply put, the densely sintered Si3N4 ceramic cylinder rods will not be broken after being heated to 1,000°C in cold water. At not too high temperature, silicon nitride bar and rod have high strength and impact resistance, but they will be damaged with the increase of use time above 1,200℃, which will reduce their strength, and fatigue damage is more likely to occur above 1,450℃, so the operating temperature generally does not exceed 1,200°C.
