Ceramic Furnace Tubes

Unipretec has substantial stocks of ceramic furnace tubes. Our alumina tubes find extensive use in furnace and kiln applications. They are also frequently used in many other applications. The furnace tubes absorb heat from the exterior, while the working environment is contained within the ceramic tube's interior. 

 

When an atmosphere or internal pressure exists in the furnace, dense products are necessary. For these kinds of applications, alumina tubes or Mullite tubes would be suitable options. Dense Alumina or Mullite furnace tubes are more susceptible to thermal shock than porous versions, thus the heating rate must be carefully monitored to avoid cracking.

 

Our ceramic tubes are widely used as furnace tubes in harsh working conditions, such as in various laboratory or analysis furnaces. In these situations, the tubes are usually made of dense mullite or 99% alumina.
