Ceramic Razor Blades

The ceramic razor blades is made of advanced inorganic non-metallic material(i.e. Zirconia Ceramic), which has the characteristics of high hardness, no rust, corrosion resistance and no static. The shape of the razor blades is normally a rectangular, but its length, width, height or specific shape can be made according to different usage requirements. Common razor blades have holes or slots. When using ceramic safety razor blade, you only need to fix the blades to the holder with screws.

Compared with traditional metal blades, how do ceramic razor replacement blades perform better in some specific application environments?

1. The traditional metal razor blade is a blade with/without oxidation surface treatment. Ordinary metal razor blades need to be run-in during use, and they wear fast, have a short life, and need frequent blade changes. The product is prone to knife marks, large waste, and low production efficiency;

2. The non metal razor blade made of zirconia does not have magnetism. This feature can also play a different role in related application fields. For example, in powder spreading process of laser rapid prototyping equipment, ceramic razors are becoming more and more popular in replacing metal razor blades. When the magnetic powder is spread, the magnetic powder is easily adsorbed on the metal razor blades, which causes the problem of reduced molding accuracy, non-magnetic ceramic blades do not cause this problem, thereby improving the accuracy of the molded part and increasing the service life;

3. The ceramic single edge razor blade can be also used as an outdoor survival tool, they are in mini size and easy to carry. In addition to being used as a cutting tool, the back of the ceramic blade can also be used as a fire striker. The sharpness and non-rusting characteristics make it durable, and the high hardness allows it to scrape more sparks. A dual-use effect is ideally achieved.
